CALIFORNIA DRESSING
Inspired By: Ann D. Wilder of Vanns Spices
Ingredients:
1 pt. Safflower oil
1 egg yolk
2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
4 Shallots, chopped
2 Tbsp PureSpice ® California Salad Seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
1. Place all ingredients, except oil, in mixing bowl and blend. Add oil in a steady stream, beating beating steadily. This will make a thin mayonnaise wonderful on salad Nicoise.
